Who We Are
The Adelaide Business Students’ Society (ABSS) is a not-for-profit, student-run organisation which was founded in 2005. Since then it has grown into a vibrant society and a key contributor to business student culture and academic development at the University of Adelaide. We are the official faculty society for the University of Adelaide Business School.
The ABSS is the representative body for all business students and provides a wide range of services to its members, including a variety of social, career, and networking events. In 2017 we’ve held highly successful industry-networking events, academic competitions, educational workshops, career services, social events, and promoted business related opportunities to members.
As a society we continue to strive to achieve our foundational pillars that we have held at the heart of our student bodies structure, since our origins.
Our Foundational Pillars
To continue to provide objective and measurable value to both our members and sponsors.
The continual and sustainable growth of our society, that has consistently been the trend since its origins.
To maintain as our core principle the professional & career development of our members
To provide students with a range of social activities for the benefit of all its members.
To facilitate, encourage and improve the education of business and commerce at the University of Adelaide
